Hello!! My name is Esa Goo (she/her), and I am one of the Mahjong Mafia fam heads for this year! I love to thrift, draw, dance, try new foods, and hang out with friends. I’m always down to meet new people and have fun. I’m not part of the Cal Poly Wushu Club but check it out anyway! I can’t wait to meet everyone :)

Hi! I’m Mariella (she/her), and I’m a fam head for the Mahjong Mafia! I love music, games, and spontaneous late-night hangouts with friends. I’m also on board for the Cal Poly Wushu Club and Cal Poly Lion Dance Team, which everyone should check out! I love meeting new people and am up for a game night anytime! ^-^
Welcome to the Mahjong Mafia!
Hey Everyone! We’re super excited for all the new CSA members, littles, and returners! Our family is all about being close-knit, embracing diverse interests and hobbies, and ultimately, our goal is to create lasting memories with each other. We love spending time together for game nights, dinners, day trips, festive competitions, and much more. We’re super pumped to see everyone at revealing and are ready to lift the Ultraman trophy once again this year!
Game Nights
One of our favorite traditions is game nights! You’ll find us around the table playing everything from Scrabble, Mario Kart, poker, foosball, mini pool, and of course… Mahjong! We can get very competitive with each other, but it is all in good fun :)
Cooking and Eating Together!
Despite being named after one, our fam is not only about games! Food is a big part of our fam’s culture. As a part of Mahjong Mafia, you’ll likely find yourself enjoying lots of Korean barbecue, homemade dumplings, and hot pot to make up for SLO’s lack of such. When we’re not whipping up something in the kitchen, you can catch us making In-N-Out runs or even grabbing Cane’s!
Mahjong Mafia has had a Winter Retreat in Tahoe, Yosemite, and a new one coming up this year! We love to try new things, spend time with our fam, cook, play games, and explore the outdoors. This is a great opportunity to bond with our members and make new friends. We’re excited to see you there!
