  • Justin Jia

    Economics Major, 3rd year

    Hey it’s Justin (he/him) and I’ll be one of your three Yip fam heads this year! I’m from Socal so I love the beach but my main sport is probably snowboarding. Hanging out with friends is my top 1 thing to do so I’m down for anything. Otherwise I’m probably on the game and that's me!

  • Tayten Jue

    Business Administration, 3rd Year

    Hi everyone!! I’m Tayten (she/her) and I’m excited to be one of your fam heads this year! In my free time I like going to concerts, trying new matcha spots, catching sunsets, golfing, and cheering on my BAY AREA sports teams. Looking forward to meeting you guys :)

    Hi everyone! I'm Kyla Tran (she/her) and I am going to be one of your three fam heads this year. In my free time, I like to bake, hike, and try new things with friends - my current obsession is trying new ice cream places! Anyways, we hope to make Yip a great experience for you guys!

YIP! YIP!

Hi Everyone! We’re Yip Dynasty! We’d like to say we’re a very tight-knit fam with everyone being friends! This year, the fam heads are Kyla Tran, Tayten Jue, and Justin Jia. We pride ourselves on being active, with our fam heads making sure to put on a lot of fun and engaging events for our members. Our members can always look forward to our Winter Retreat, many game nights, random outings, day trips, parties, and much more! To sum up, we’re a very competitive and inviting fam who loves spending time with each other, either playing games together or against each other. Thank you!

Poker Nights

One of Yip’s biggest traditions is holding poker nights throughout the school year. You don’t need to know how to play poker to join our fam, however! Most of us actually learned after joining (“learn by losing”). We don’t really play for money, but rather use it as a way to bond and hang out.

Retreats

Over the last few years, Yip has held a Winter Retreat in Bass Lake, CA, and Yosemite, CA, where we explored the outdoors, cooked, and, of course, played poker. It was a great time to bond with our fam through many games and late-night conversations. We hope to continue this tradition every year!

Other Events

We've also had our fair share of late-night food runs, picnics, adventures, and collabs with the other fams! We're always looking for something to do, and we can't wait for the events we have planned this year!

In the end, it's all about what you want to make of your experience in CSA. Yip is one place where you can find your home away from home. We'll do our best to make you feel welcome. We hope to meet you soon.
